OKS Groruddalskirken – A church for people like you
Situated in the heart of Groruddalen, OKS Groruddalskirken is a relatively new church for all kinds of people. Our dream and what we gradually see, is a multicultural church taking shape, bringing people from different nationalities together for a higher cause.
Every Sunday we meet at Bergtunveien 2 at Høybråten (same building as Høybråten Normisjon) to celebrate God, sing songs to Him and listen to relevant Bible-based teaching. You are most welcome to join us. We believe that through Jesus Christ everybody can connect with God, our Father, and experience His love and mercy in our lives.
Exceptions may occur, so stay tuned to our calendar. Please be aware that our program is changed during the Summer months and also in December, please check out our calendar.
Our weekly program
Our Sunday services at 12:00 noon are the highlights of the week at Groruddalskirken. Exceptions may occur.
English interpretation is provided on request. Please contact our crew at the Connect stand when you arrive at the church for more information.
Parallel with our church services, all children from 3-12 years are invited to join OKS Kidz to celebrate God, friendship and life together. You can drop by with your whole family for a cup of coffee or tea and a chat from 11:30, if you’d like.
Every second week we meet in smaller groups in each others homes and share life together. We call them Life Groups. We believe the church is meant to be one big family where every one of us belongs and where nobody is lonely. You can come just as you are and experience God`s loving kindness and how the love of God changes everything.
