OKS Citykirken is a church for all kind of people, and especially for you who do not usually attend church.

The mood and atmosphere might be different from what you are accustomed to from other churches. The music might be a little louder, what you see on stage more modern, and the musical style could be unfamiliar. But the center of it all is based on the teachings and words of Jesus Christ – He is the Son of God, and through Him everybody can experience Gods mercy and love in our lives.

We believe that the love of God is meant to be shared between humans – nobody was lonely in the company of Jesus, and our dream, goal and mission is that nobody shall be lonely in our company either – or anywhere else, for that matter. We exist to fight loneliness, and believe Jesus showed us the way: Invite, include and involve!

OKS Citykirken is a part of Oslo Christian Centre (OKS), a multi-site church, based at Kjeller about 20 minutes outside of Oslo. In addition to our weekly Sunday services we meet in Life groups in the weekdays.

Our Sunday service is the highlight of the week in OKS Citykirken.

Our regular service hours every Sunday is 4 PM at Møllergata 40
English interpretation is provided at our services. Please contact our crew at the Connect-stand when you arrive at the church for more information.

City Kidz – In addition, we also have parallel services for the kids during the 5 pm-service at Møllergata 40 every second week.

Life groups are a crucial part of church life, no matter if you are new to church, new to Oslo or whether you have been a church-goer for many years, we believe that Life groups will help you build good friendships and strengthen your relationship with God.

A Life group consists 8 to 12 people, and as we meet in each other’s homes the setting is more informal and we basically have more time to get to know each other. We have both English and Norwegian-speaking Life groups in OKS Citykirken to be able to include more people in different walks of life.
